Small policies built for seniors
Final expense insurance, also called burial insurance, is whole life insurance with a smaller benefit, usually a few thousand dollars up to around $40,000. The premium stays the same and the coverage lasts your whole life.
Often no medical exam
Most plans approve you based on health questions. Some guaranteed-acceptance plans ask none.

Funeral or cremation, a headstone, medical bills and other final costs.
Know about waiting periods
Guaranteed-acceptance plans usually pay the full benefit only after the first two years. If you qualify for a plan with immediate coverage, we'll find it.

How much does final expense insurance cost?
It depends on your age, health and the amount of coverage. A smaller benefit for a healthy 65-year-old often costs much less than people expect. We'll give you real quotes.
Is there a waiting period?
Plans with health questions often cover you in full from day one. Guaranteed-acceptance plans usually have a two-year waiting period for natural causes.
Can I get coverage in my 80s?
Yes. Many companies accept applicants into their 80s. The choices and prices change with age, so it's worth comparing.
